Concepts for a game.

Some times ago, I had the idea of making a Kirby fangame. So, I brainstormed to create an original hero. It gave me Alams, a little cat ball, that lives in a box. I wanted it to be living forever alone, untile something happens. Then I had the idea of a tutorial. But who would tell Alams hot to fight? So I had the idea of creating a lil' fairy. I gave her the name Mille-feuille.

Then, it hitted me like the Youkai Express. Why not make an original game?

So, I rejected the idea of Alams for here, because a ball hero on a 2D platform game would be too much like Kirby. Who would it be then?
Mille-feuille!
The storyline will be the same, but Mille-feuille wasn't alone during her whole life, she was with Lazuli, a stone that talk. Later in the game, we discover that Lazuli is in reality a male fairy, cursed by an evil guy.

And so, a game in 8-bit, with a female fairy as hero. But it's no ordinary 8-bit platform game. This game will contain 1000 levels.
One thousand levels.
It's a huge name, but my friends will help me with the level design, and I'll do the programming and spritings myself. It'll take some times, but I hope I'll be able to finish it one day!

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, a game by Konami Digital Entertainement, is a 2D platform game for the Nintendo DS from the popular serie Castlevania, that I like since I am young.

In PoR, you can play (in the regular story mode) with Jonathan, the son of Richiter, and Charlotte, a magician. Their gameplay is very different, and the RPG elements of the game makes it very interesting to play.

The first antagonists you see are the Scarlet Lecarde Sisters, who are the daughters of Eric, but were stolen by the vampire artist Victor Brauner. Brauner also steals Dracula's castle, and put paintings in it. "Why did he did that?" , you ask? I bet he think he is Bowser, and like in Super Mario 64, he put levels in paintings.

In the Castlevania beore th one (wich I didn't played), Dracula dies, but Death can't be killed, so he stills wanders around Dracula's castle. When you beat Brauner, Dracula is revived, and when you fight him, you fight both him AND Death! And if you manage to survive, he will fuse with Death!! Truly awesome, I say.

Chen really loved this game. You should buy it, because DS emulation is painful. It took me very long to take these screenshots.Had to download two differents emulators because DoS don't work with no$gba.

Tommorow, Chen will take some hours writing an article about Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, wich I finished at 1000% (yes, one thousand percent.).

Wariwulf

Wariwulf 1. Le premier des Râjâ (Fr) (The first Râjâ), a book by my favorite writer: Bryan Perro, who also wrote Amos Daragon.

This book has not yet been translated in english. It's the story of a man that was raised by wolfs, became a slave, then returned to the wolfs, and died.  Just like Higurashi, the chapters may be confusing to some; something happens in a chapter, and it happens again, but to another character. The main character make me think about Marcelo, a friend of YouTube, and I'm sure he'd love this book too.

Maple Story

Two days ago, I started (well, re-played) playing Maple Story.

I like Maple Story. It's very different from the other MMORPGs my irl friends play (WoW & Dofus), and it's like Castlevania/Zelda II :D

I don't have much to say, I always get killed by Pigs and Green Mushrooms. They both are very annoying because I must kill Green Mushrooms to get their drop, and they kill me VERY easily, but there's pigs on the road to the mushrooms, and they are unavoidable and very fast.

Anyways, look, it's Bub! :D
